Weekly round up and a new teacher !!!

This term Koka Ngaire and Koka Terri set a challenge. The challenge is that a team of people in my class will have a week to take photos of their learning and speak about it to and everybody gets a go at it. Last week the team was Kayla, Lola, Bay and William but we haven't seen their video because it won't play.

We are also going to have a new teacher coming and his name is Beau and he has done some relieving at my school in the past and he taught my brother when he was still at Wainui Beach School.  I'm excited because my brother said he's  really nice and kind. I think that he'll get along with Koka Ngaire and I hope that he enjoys this school.

My team is  Rio, Louie and I. I am very happy because we all have strengths and we all will help out. I think that my team will do great because Rio is amazing at design, Louie is great with technology and I think i'm good at communicating with other people. Me and my team will be doing our weekly round up term 4 week 8 which means we will be the last team to do that.

First week back for team 3!

Hello, this week me and my friend decided to make a slide for one of our priorities.
The reasoning behind this project is that in our writing group we are focusing on genres
and we picked graffiti. The type that we picked is the one   that has a good message and that you are hired
to do it on their property. Me and Millie decided to have the message about saving endangered animals and
encouraging people to recycle. Our slide will be at the bottom, I hope you like it and please leave
a comment and give some feedback.

LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL

This is the last week of school for me. I'm so excited to see what term 3 will bring for me this year. Although I would like to be on holiday, I'm still at school.  This week it was interesting because this week me and my class had to perform a just dance. The options were Waka waka, Hand clap or Timber. I chose Timber and my partner is Nina. When I first did this dance it was very difficult to do.

Or though I would like to be on holiday.
I still have a  week of school and in my class we did a Matariki  puzzle and we had to go around my class and read the clues that were hidden on site.
I enjoyed it because you had to read what it said and try and fill in the answers about the question asked in your own words.
What I mostly liked was that you got to colour the puzzle pieces in and then cut them out.

I thought that it was cool that we could dress up as our cartier and perform it but me and Nina haven't performed ours yet.

I'm so happy that I could use a big panda head and that me and Nina look the part. Overall I think that me and Nina are going to nail it because we've been practicing hard but we've been having a great time and having lots of fun.
